Sony Pictures has published a German trailer for the upcoming “Chainsaw Man” film today and at the same time announces that the appointment for the theatrical release in Germany was postponed. We summarize.

»Chainsaw Man – The Movie: REZE ARC« will therefore not be seen as originally planned from October 29, 2025, but from October 23, 2025 and thus a week earlier in German cinemas.
As with the associated TV series, the Mappa studio was responsible for the production of the approximately 100-minute evening filler, which celebrates its premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025, in which Tatsuya Yoshihara (»Wistoria«) directed the direction.
All twelve episodes of the first season can already be streamed with German subtitles at Crunchyroll with German dubbing and in the original sound. TV broadcast will take place on ProSieben Maxx from October 10, 2025.
