On the official X account of the anime adaptation of »Chainsaw Man«, new details on the international theatrical release of the sequel film were recently unveiled-including the appointment for Germany. We summarize.
Heavy start in October 2025
“Chainsaw Man – The Movie: REZE ARC” starts on September 19, 2025 in Japan, before the strip can only be seen in the German cinemas from October 29, 2025.
The US company Sony Pictures Entertainment, which also includes the Crunchyroll streaming service, takes over the worldwide sales of the film. A German language version has not yet been confirmed.
The Studio Mappa is responsible for the production of the “Chainsaw Man” sequel, in which Tatsuya Yoshihara (“Wistoria”) directs and Masato Nakazono (“Oblivion Battery”) acts as an assistant director.
Crunchyroll brought the previous twelve-part anime series with German and Japanese setting on DVD and Blu-ray. In addition, all episodes have been available for some time.
