While the first part of the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” trilogy is still the measure of all things in both Japan and on an international stage, he also made an impressive start in German cinemas, but missed the very big records. We summarize the details below.

Second best anime start

With around 552,500 tickets sold and revenue of almost seven million euros, the film achieved the fourth best cinema of the current year 2025 – behind “A Minecraft Film”, “The canoe des Manitu” and “Lilo & Stitch”.

He also marks the second most successful start of an anime in Germany, only exceeded by »Pokémon: The Film« (2000) with more than one million visitors.

This week, too, the over two -hour evening filler continues to be seen with German dubbing and in the Japanese original sound with German subtitles in over 400 custody houses. In some major cities, demonstrations in English and with English subtitles are also offered.

So if you haven’t seen the film yet, you can make up for this in the next few days or even weeks-especially since Crunchyroll has already confirmed that the strip will not find its way into the streaming catalog before 2026.
