On the official X-account of the anime adaptation of »Golden Kamuy«, new details on the already announced continuation were revealed. We summarize.
Start in October 2025
“Golden Kamuy” initially receives two prologue films, which, entitled “Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Factory Arc” (Japanese: “Sapporo Beer Koujou-Hen”), on October 10, 2025 on October 31, 2025.
In January 2026 it will finally continue with the fifth season, which implements the final ARC of Satoru Noda’s original manga series. The Brain’s Base is responsible for the production of the two new anime projects. Shizertaka Sugahara acts again as a chief director.
A first teaser for the two films in which the title song “Kogane No Kanata” by the singer Awich (“Shangri-La Frontier”) and the Japanese band Ali (ending of “Witch Watch”) is presented in an instrumental version.
The first four seasons of »Golden Kamuy« were broadcast between April 2018 and June 2023. The VoD service Crunchyroll offers all episodes on call.

At the beginning of the 20th century, in the north north of Hokkaido.
