Today, September 15, 2025, Starship Entertainment announced the debut of its new Kpop boy group, IDID, with the release of their first album, I did it. The seven-member group includes JANG YONGHOON, KIM MINJAE, PARK WONBIN, CHU YOOCHAN, PARK SEONGHYEON, BAEK JUNHYUK, and JEONG SEMIN. This is the agency’s first new boy group in five years.

The album has eight tracks, with the title song “제멋대로 찬란하게” (CHAN-RAN) leading the way. The song represents the group’s essence with lively rhythms and a strong hicp-hop bass. The album also features their pre-debut single, “STEP IT UP,” which showcased the group’s performance style to the public in July.

IDID’s journey to debut began with the survival variety program ‘Debut’s Plan,’ which premiered in March 2025 and drew attention from Kpop fans worldwide. The group’s name, derived from the phrase “I did it,” embodies their steadfast resolve and drive to turn ambition into achievement. They made their first international appearance at KCON Los Angeles in August, where they announced their official debut and performed on the M COUNTDOWN Stage. Their performance included “STEP IT UP” and a tribute to ENHYPEN with a cover of “XO,” signaling their versatility and readiness to stand alongside today’s global stars.

The album I did it flows as a single emotional arc, with each track possessing a unique texture. The project captures the full spectrum of the group’s identity, from the delicate emotions of “SLOW TIDE” and the uplifting embrace of imperfection in “ImPerfect” to the addictive punch of “STICKY BOMB” and the determined drive of “Blooming CROWN.” The title track, “제멋대로 찬란하게,” highlights their unrefined authenticity with the memorable line, “Even if I fall and get hurt, it’s not so bad.” With this debut, IDID presents a vivid and brilliantly unrestrained look into their present, marking them as one of the most exciting rookie groups to emerge in 2025.
