After a long legal battle with their previous agency, former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Sio, and Saena have officially re-debuted as a trio under the new group ablume.
As of writing, the group’s debut music video for their title track “Echo” has reached 1.6 million views on YouTube and continues to gain support from fans around the world. The track, described as warm and bubbly showcases their signature harmonies and vocal color which are qualities that fans strongly associate with the original FIFTY FIFTY sound.
The debut was met with positive responses online, with netizens praising the trio’s synergy and the summer vibe of the song. They commented:
- Why is ablume way more FIFTYFIFTY than FIFTYFIFTY?
- Sounds more fiftyfifty than fiftyfifty, I’m crying
- To be honest they outdid “Pookie”
- These are the voices that made Cupid a hit, not the group name.
- Woah their company was able to get fiftyfifty signature sound, amazing! This is what I expected after “Cupid”. Ablume you will always be THE voices.
- It’s the voices! They’re just so unique and warm.
- What do they put in their songs, they’re so catchy
- I think I saw that ablume’s company just won the rights for Cupid so we might get an Ablume version of it!
- Wait you mean like the real FiftyFifty?
- Someone needs to make a sped-up version and make them viral again
- Wow, they really were FiftyFifty like no shade but the new FiFi has a completely different sound, they might as just well have a completely different name.
- Now THIS is FiftyFifty
- It was never the beat, the rhythm, or the music – it was their voice that MADE FiftyFifty. Can’t replace their voice.
- I fear they outdid FiftyFifty 2.0 discography.
- Their voices seriously make the song
- People said they couldn’t reach this number in 2 days and we just proved that they can and numbers will keep rising.
- This is crazy, the number of views is skyrocketing every 5 minutes. I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to “Echo.” Your voices are addictive.
- There’s something about Sio, Saena, and Aran’s voices that just can’t be replicated…..
- How many people realized that “Echo” is also a character in classical mythology like Cupid was? Simply genius.
- Their voices have no replacement.
- This song is addicting. Once you start listening, you keep repeating again and again. In just a couple of hours, Youtube added 200,000 plus views. It is top on iTunes in several countries on the Kpop genre. Soon, probably, Spotify will double its plays.
- Agree! It’s not the song, it’s their voices!
