Starship Entertainment announced on the 10th that IVE left for Germany to attend “Lollapalooza Berlin.”
IVE will be the first K-pop girl group to be invited to the “Lollapalooza Berlin” held in Olympiastadion & Olympiapark Berlin, Germany, on the 12th (local time) and will perform a solo performance for about 55 minutes.
IVE made a successful festival debut with a high-quality performance, and drew enthusiastic responses from the audience with its dynamic stage composition and explosive live performance combined with the all-band performance last year.
Global music media also highlighted their stages. The Rolling Stone, an American music magazine, said on its official website, “IVE rocked the stage with a live arrangement,” and Billboard picked IVE’s performance as one of the 10 best stages of “Lollapalooza” and praised the performance, saying, “It captured the hearts of all the audience and performed vocal spectacle that emphasized impeccable high notes. It became one of the most memorable performances at this year’s festival.”
Starting with “Lollapalooza Chicago,” IVE, who has demonstrated their improved musical capabilities by participating in world-leading festivals, continues to make remarkable global moves this year.
With its third mini album “IVE EMPATHY” released on February 3, it has won 15 awards in music broadcasts (11 wins for “REBEL HEART” and 4 wins for “ATTITUDE”) and will also be on the halftime show of the “2025 Coupang Play Series” on the 30th.
In addition, with the stage of “Lollapalooza Paris” set to be held on the 20th, their moves are drawing more attention in that IVE is the only K-pop girl group who has been invited to perform for two consecutive years at “Lollapalooza” and has been invited three times.
