The film rental 24 pictures today announced that in collaboration with Cloud Nine and Universal Music you will bring a concert film from the J-Pop singer Ado to the cinema. You can find a first trailer below.
Cinema event in June 2025
The approximately 140-minute concert film “Ado Special Live Shinzou in Cinema”, especially mixed for the cinema experience in 5.1 surround sound and Dolby Atmos, can be seen exclusively on June 7 and 8, 2025 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The live special was recorded in April 2024 in the nation stadium in Tokyo, where ADO delighted over 140,000 fans over two days. She presented a total of 26 songs, including the stage duet “Sakura Biyori and Time Machine” with the virtual idol Hatsune Miku and the chart hit “Show”.
The exceptional artist has been dealing with music since she was twelve and initially published cover songs produced on platforms such as Niconico and YouTube, before she finally signed a contract with the Japanese offshoot of Universal Music shortly before her age.
Her debut single “USSeeWA” quickly developed into a viral hit and reached several hundred million calls on the common platforms. A little later she published her first studio album “Kyougen” and the soundtrack for “One Piece Film: Red” – both stayed in the charts for over 100 weeks.
ADO, whose identity has not yet been publicly known, only uses an anime avatar in advertising material and videos, while her face is covered by spectacular light and shadow effects at concerts.
