The Apothecary Diaries revealed a special visual for June, featuring Maomao hanging out with Jinshi (Ka Zuigetsu). This follows the franchise’s traditional releases of monthly/seasonal visuals on the 22nd day (Nekoneko Day) of each month, and this edition will be the final one for the project. The anime is set to end its second season after two more episodes.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 is currently ongoing with its second consecutive cour. Studios OLM and TOHO Animation studio returning to animate, Norihiro Naganuma as the director. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. The voice cast consists of:

Natsu Hyuga writes the The Apothecary Diaries Light Novel, With illustrations by Toko Shino. It is serialized by shunfunotomomomo. The series has 2 manga adaptation, one written by the itsuki nanao and illattractary by Nekokurage, and one written and illustrated by Minoji Kuta.
J-Novel Club is publishing the novel in English, while Squre Enix is publishing the manga. The story follows Maomao, a young apothecary who ends up getting sold to the emperor’s palace as a lowly servant. As she isn’t the type of character to just stay obedient, she ends up helping Jinshi, the handsome official at the palace. She ends up promoted, and now has plenty of adventures there, all the while accidentally making Jinshi fall for her more and more.
