Shueisha gathers for a special Jump Festa event every December to celebrate their many franchises across their various magazines like Shonen Jump, Jump GIGA, Shonen Jump+ and many more. Previous years have seen franchises announce new anime entries, manga finales, and more so it’s a highly anticipated event from fans each year as it’s a mystery for what could be announced. That’s especially true given all of the franchises involved this time around too.
Shueisha has officially revealed the first look at their anime and manga lineup for Jump Festa 2026 ahead of the event taking place on the December 20-21 weekend in Japan. With the first poster for the event now revealed, fans can see teases for updates for franchises like One Piece, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Boruto, DAN DA DAN, Spy x Family and many more. What New Anime Will Be Announced at Jump Festa 2026?

There are going to be some big updates that anime fans are going to want to keep an eye out for this year in particular. Some franchises like Akane-banashi have already revealed that they are planning their next major updates for the Jump Festa 2026 event, but there are going to be even more franchises airing at that time. Series like My Hero Academia and Spy x Family will be in the midst of airing new seasons of their anime together with the Fall 2025 anime schedule, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be coming off of the worldwide launch of its first Infinity Castle film.
Other major franchises are preparing to return with new anime next year with Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach, Kill Blue and more all airing new episodes next year. And that’s just what has been revealed thus far as there are many other franchises that will likely have unannounced projects or updates revealed at the event itself.
