Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary Horror Anime Reveals Main Voice Cast and Staff in First Trailer

Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary kindergarten horror anime revealed the first teaser trailer, introducing the main voice cast and staff. The story is set in a kindergarten and begins when Ms. Chie, tasked with supervising the troublemaker Kaya-chan, discovers her hidden powers. No release date has been announced.



The main voice cast includes:

  • Azusa Tachibana as kaya-haya
  • Maaya uchida as Chie-sensei

Taro Yuri writes and illustrated the Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary (Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai) manga series. It began serialization on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website in April 2022, and released the latest volume (Volume 6) on November 9, 2024. Volume 7 is set to release on June 9, 2025. The anime adaptation was announced last November as well.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
