On the official X-account of the anime implementation of “with you and the rain” (Japanese: “Ame to Kimi to”) it was announced today that this will be broadcast on Japanese television from July 5, 2025. There is a new visual below.

“With you and the rain” is created under the direction of Tomohiro Tsukimisato (“How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno”) in the Lesprit studio. The script is written by Touko Machida (“Vampire Dormitory”), while Ayano Owada creates the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Saori Hayami (Osaragi in “Sakamoto Days”) can be heard as Fuji and Yuna Kamakura (Ciel in “The Weakest Tamer”) as Mimi. Crunchyroll shows the slice-of-life series in the Simulcast.
The original manga series of the same name from Kou Nikaidou has been published in Kodansha’s »Weekly Young« magazine since August 2020. The work is available in Germany by the Manga Cult publishing house with German translation.
