The Japanese animation studio Kyoto Animation teased a new project today and would like to reveal more details soon. We summarize.
New anime project
With a “line-up promo video”, Kyoto Animation recently gave a foretaste of some works that will be shown on October 25 and 26, 2025 as part of the exhibition “Kyoani No Sekai-Ten” (“Meet the Worlds of Kyoani”) in Kyoto.
However, fans can not only look forward to exciting details about completed anime, but also to the announcement of a completely new Anime project, which is presented right at the beginning of the event at the “Kyoto Animation 2026 New Workement Stage” by its participants.
The studio’s still open projects include the film series »Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie, whose first part is due to start in spring 2026, and the series »20th Century Electricity Catalog«, which was announced in July 2018.
In view of the long radio silence, it cannot be said without any doubt whether the latter title is still in the works. We will of course keep you up to date during the event during the event.
