Leviathanthe new anime from CGI studio ORANGE, has revealed a new visual and a July 10 Netflix premiere. The anime has Joe Hisaishi on the music, and it revealed the first teaser trailer back in September 2024.
Leviathan is originally a 2009 novel written by Scott Westerfeld and illustrated by Keith Thompson. It is the first work in the Leviathan trilogy, followed by sequels Behemoth and Goliath. It was awarded the title of Best Young Adult Novel by the Aurealis Award in 2009.
Studio ORANGE is known for their 3DCG work on Land of the Lustrous, BEASTARS and Trigun: Stampede. Joe Hisaishi is well known for his work on Hayao Miyazaki’s movies, as well as his work on Ni no Kuni.
