Nexon’s free-to-play MMORPG Fabinogy has released its latest content update, Arcana: Faith and Furyadding two new Arcana talents, skill balance adjustments, and several summer-themed events aimed at both new and returning players.
- Sacred Guardian merges the Holy Arts and Warrior talents, forming a defensive role focused on ally protection and enemy disruption. Its skills include Pledge of Penance, Provoke, and Martyr’s Consecration.
- Explosive Vanguard blends the Gunslinger and Lance talents, offering a more aggressive style that emphasizes area-of-effect damage. Abilities such as Relentless Thrust, Blast Zone, and Blaze of Glory utilize Mana Shells and Mana Pressure to deliver sustained firepower.
Both talents make use of Arcana Link Effects, which scale across ten levels to provide incremental stat improvements and combat utility. The update also raises the Total Arcana Level cap to 250, allowing for further progression and stat bonuses.
System Updates and Quality-of-Life Improvements
Alongside the new talents, Nexon has implemented buffs and revisions to the four existing Arcana talents. An Arcana Achievement Questline has also been added, designed to assist players in progressing through the Arcana system, especially useful for those newer to the game.
Summer Events and Promotions
To coincide with the update, Fabinogy has launched its annual Summer Festival with returning events like the Summer Master Plan, Black Combo Card, and complimentary VIP Service for all players. A new event, Flying High, provides extensive in-game rewards, including powerful items, character boosts, and exclusive pets. The aim is to help players fast-track character development. Notable rewards include the Codex of Ascendant Arcana, Wizard and Warrior Corgis, and a scroll to instantly max a Spirit Weapon.
Generation 27 Arrives in August
The game’s next major storyline chapter, Generation 27: Chapter 8is set to launch in August. It will explore the origins of Vertrag, a Giant antagonist seeking to challenge the Milletian’s role in Erinn, and delve into the city of Murias, a long-rumored divine settlement. Completion of the chapter will unlock the new Bi Lewards dungeon and introduce Soul Liberator weapons, marking the next tier of character progression.
