A new teaser visual and 2026 release date were officially announced for Season 2 of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. Studios Moe and J.C. Staff were in charge of the animation for the first season, which aired for 12 episodes from October to December 2024. The sequel was announced immediately after the finale.

Sekka Iwata write the Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. manga, with Yu Aoki in charge of the illustrations. It was published on Shueisha’s Jump+ and has released 17 volumes as of June. The manga ended on July 9, with the final volume set to compile the remaining chapters. VIZ licensed the manga in English.
The story follows a young Kana Sakuragi, an excellent candidate for any job who has no luck with any. After failing over 15 interviews, she gets into a situation involving a monster and a magical girl, sending her on an adventure she did not expect.
