The recently published 112nd “One Piece” band was released in his first week “only” sold “577,901 times-a new record low. We summarize.
Constant downward trend
With these sales figures, “One Piece” continues to assert itself unchallenged at the head of the weekly Oricon charts and clearly leaves even trendy new genitals such as “Dan Da Dan” (83.041) and “Blue Box” (67,489), but a clear downward trend has been recognized for some time.
Because after Volume 80 had marked the previous maximum value in his first week with a total of 2,118,662 sold copies, afterwards it was only steeply downhill:
Band | Sales in week 1 | Year |
80 | 2.118.662 | 2015 |
90 | 1.441.771 | 2018 |
100 | 1.172.940 | 2021 |
105 | 1.022.180 | 2023 |
110 | 617.218 | 2024 |
112 | 577.901 | 2025 |
However, one has to mention that the latest band appeared on July 4, 2025 and thus on a Friday, which is why there were only three days left in the relevant period – but that never bothered a box office strike like »One Piece«.
