Me and the Alien MuMu anime will continue into Summer 2025 with Cour 2, revealing a new visual, trailer, and theme song. Studio OLM in charge of the animation for the ongoing anime, with Cour 2 set to start on July 2.
The new theme song is “MOVE MOVE” by ako, and you can hear it in the new trailer.

Hiroki Miyashita writes and draws the Me and the Alien Mumu (Uchujin Mum) manga, which is serialized in Shonen Gahosha’s Young King OURs magazine. It was first published as a one-shot in the magazine in April 2019, while it began regular serialization in the same magazine in June of the same year.
The story follows MuMu, a cat-like alien from a faraway galaxy which comes to Earth on a mission to study home appliances and restore his species’ lost technology. Sakurako, a regular university student, then finds her ordinary life completely changed as she ends up living with MuMu.
