The Japanese publisher KADOKAWA today announced an anime adaptation of the light novel series “Melody of the Boundary” (Japanese: “Kyoukai no Melody”). We summarize the first details for you below.

All that is known so far is that the anime is a series and stars Kento Itou (Faust in “Promise of Wizard”) as Kyousuke Tsurumaki and Daisuke Sakuma (Kaito Hibiki in “You and Idol Precure”) as Kai Amano.
In addition, Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in “Jujutsu Kaisen”) lends his voice to the character Takeshi, Shunsuke Takeuchi (Makoto Suzuki in “Tokyo Revengers”) voices Makoto and Souma Saitou takes on the role of Minoru.
Further details, such as the animation studio, who will be involved in the production or a start date, are currently pending.
The original light novel series of the same name by Miyata has been published in Japan since May 2024 with illustrations by LAM. A manga adaptation by Iqura Sugimoto has been published in KADOKAWA’s “Young Ace” magazine since May 2025.
