The popular sandbox video game “Minecraft” has announced its first official anime collaboration with a DLC to “Dragon Ball Z”. We summarize.

With more than 350 million copies sold, “Minecraft” is by far the most successful video game ever and the extremely high number of players also ensure that there are always new mods and projects around anime, such as “Demon Slayer” and “Attack on Titan”.
But now the developer studio Mojang Studios with a DLC for “Dragon Ball Z” confirmed official cooperation with an anime franchise for the first time.
The announcement took place as part of the »Minecraft Live 2025« event and even if one did not yet give a specific publication date, the fans were assured that the expansion should be released this year.
In the meantime, players of the »Minecraft Bedrock« edition can already request a character manufacturer element for »Super-Saiyajin« hair free of charge until November 5, 2025. After that, this is only available for a fee in the shop.
