My Hero Academia is officially getting a new game, with Bandai Namco Entertainment to reveal it at its Summer Showcase on July 2. The franchise is currently airing its My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off anime, while the eight and final season of the main series will premiere in October.

The My Hero Academia manga by Kohei Horikoshi ran from July 2014 to August 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jumpconcluding after a decade-long serialization. Besides the TV series, My Hero Academia also has four feature films. The latest, My Hero Academia: You’re Nextarrived on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on February 19, 2025, which also included an original OVA episode with story written by Horikoshi himself. The movie began streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll on April 20.
