On the official X-account of the anime adaptation of “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” (Japanese: “Vigilante: Boku No Hero Academia Illegals”), it was announced today that this is given a second season. You can find a first teaser below.

The second season of “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” will be broadcast on Japanese television in the course of the next year and shown in this country in the original sound with German subtitles at Crunchyroll in the Simulcast.
The Studio Bones Film was responsible for the production of the 13-part first season, in which Kenichi Suzuki (“Jojo’s bizarre adventure: Stone Ocean”) directed the script.
The spin-off series was first broadcast from April to June 2025 in Japan. The eighth anime relay of the main series starts in October 2025.

Koichi Haimawari could not be a hero, but sets in his little quirk to secretly do good. After a collision with local clubs, he joins two other “heroes”. They are inexperienced, but determined – but they quickly realize that courage is not enough in the fight against evil alone.
