My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s anime revealed a new key visual, along with confirming that all episodes are already completed. The anime is set to premiere in October 2025, and it will air in Japan on TV Tokyo BS, BS Fuji, and Animax.
Key visuals… As the name suggests, they visualize the essence of the work. Usually, they are created in parallel with the main production.
The key difference this time is that the entire series has already been completed.
In other words, we were able to create this with all the companions who have journeyed through this world together with Akira and the others.Until this work reaches you, please enjoy imagining what kind of world Akira and his friends have seen while enjoying this key visual.

Matsuri Akai writes the My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s (Asashin de Aru no Sutetasu ga Yusha Yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi Nodaga) Light Novel Series, which features illustrations by tozai. It began as a web Novel by akai n January 2017, While Overlap Began Publishing the Series under its overlap Bunko Imprint after acquiring it in November 2017. There is also a manga adaptation by hiroyuki aigamo.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both light novel and manga in English, describing the former:
