As part of its monthly overview for September 2025, the VoD service Netflix announced that the “East Blue” saga of the anime adaptation of “One Piece” will be added to the program in a few weeks. We summarize.

According to current plans, the first “One Piece” sequences should be available at Netflix from September 30, 2025 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. How many episodes are provided in the “first thrust” and in which language versions they appear has not yet been known.
Currently, Netflix only offers the “Egghead” Arc of “One Piece” in the original sound with subtitles on call. The two competitors Crunchyroll and ADN, on the other hand, also have the “East Blue” saga, which extends over the first 61 episodes of the series, in the OMU version in the portfolio.
The German-language version is currently still available exclusively on DVD and Blu-ray and can be seen on ProSieben Maxx on television, but should also be available at ADN shortly. However, an appointment has not yet been confirmed.
