In view of the many success reports, one might think that “KPOP Demon Hunters” had already broken all Netflix records-but a record was obviously still missing: the longest length of stay in the “Global Top Movies”. We summarize.
Film breaks further record
Since its publication on June 20, 2025 and thus impressive 15 weeks at a time, “KPOP Demon Hunters” has already been represented in the “Global Top 10 Movies” by Netflix – no other film on the platform has yet been achieved.
The evening filler also never fell under second place in this ranking and still took first place in the current week. It is also rather unlikely that something will change in the foreseeable future.
Finally, the film was still 19.3 million times in the past week, almost twice as often as the currently second -placed title “Ruth & Boaz” (10.3 million), which causes the total number of “KPOP Demon Hunters” to increase to more than 325.1 million.
No wonder that Netflix should already have big plans with his most successful film of all time, although the directors were quite cautious about a live action adaptation a few days ago.
