A new trailer was released on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!” (Japanese: “Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!”). You can find the video below.

“Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!” Is produced under the direction of director Kazuomi Koga (“Tenpuru”) in the Marvy Jack studio. Aya Watatne writes the script, while Atsuko Takahashi creates the character design.
The opening song “Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy”, which is presented in the trailer, comes from the Japanese girl band Gang Parade. The Crunchyroll streaming service shows the Romcom series in the Simulcast from October 6, 2025.
The original manga series of the same name by Mamakari has been published in the »Koisuru Soiree« magazine in Japan since September 2019. The work is currently not available with a German translation.
