
The first part of the three-part “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” series reached a significant milestone in Germany and passed the one million cinema-goer mark a few days ago. We summarize.
Over 1 million visitors
By the end of last weekend, around 1,022,500 tickets for the new “Demon Slayer” film had already been sold in Germany. This means that the film is now ranked 14th among the most visited films of the current year.
There is currently no current information on box office results, but before the one million visitor mark was reached, revenue from 960,424 tickets sold amounted to 12,224,783 euros.
The film was released in cinemas on September 18, 2025 and will be distributed by Sony and Crunchyroll in both German and Japanese language versions.
The opening film of the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” trilogy achieved worldwide box office receipts of 648 million US dollars (around 560 million euros) by October 12, 2025, making it the fifth most successful film of 2025.
