New “Irregular at Magic High School” film starts in 2026 + teaser
As part of the Anlex online festival 2025, new information on the upcoming sequel film about “The Irregular at Magic High School” (Japanese: “Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei”) was announced. There is a teaser below.

The new film, which bears the title “The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc” (Japanese: “Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Yotsuba Keishhen”), will therefore celebrate its Japanese cinema premiere next year.
Studio 8-bit is responsible for the production of the strip, in which Jimmy Stone (storyboard from “My rebirth as a mucus in another world: fire-red gang”) takes over the position of the director.
More details, such as the other participants or a specific date for the theatrical release in Japan, are still pending.
In Germany, KSM Anime sells the first two “irregular at magic high school” seasons and the first film “The Girl Who Summons the Stars” on DVD and Blu-ray. The third season, the “Reminiscence Arc” prequel and the spin-off series “The Honor at Magic High School” are available on call at Crunchyroll.
