The streaming service Netflix announced today that the live action series “Bet” has been extended by a second season. We summarize below.

The second season of “Bet” is again created under the direction of showrunner Simon Barry (“The Art of War”, “Bad Blood”), who also wrote the script again and acts as an executive producer.
In the main roles, Miku Martineau (Ani in “Kate”) as Yumeko Kawamoto and Using O’DrisColl (Jaime in “You Can Live Forever”) can be seen as Riri Timurov. A start date of the sequel is still pending.
Netflix has already been offering all ten episodes of the first season of “Bet” since May 15, 2025 with German language version. The series is loose on the manga series »Kakegurui« by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura.
