The video-on-demand provider Netflix has published a new trailer for the second »Mononoke« film today. You can find the video below.

The approximately 74-minute strip, which bears the title “Mononoke the Movie: Chapter II-The Ashes of Rage”, can be streamed in the original sound with German subtitles and with German synchronization on Netflix from August 14, 2025.
The two studios Eota and Cell Cell were responsible for the production of the evening filler, in which Kiyotaka Suzuki (“Babylon”) took over the position of the director. The cinema premiere in Japan took place on March 14, 2025.
The first part appeared in November 2024 both in German and in Japanese at Netflix. A third part has been announced for spring 2026.
