The Japanese company Bandai Namco Filmworks announced today that you are working on a new original anime. You can find a first visual below.
Premiere planned for 2027
The new anime film project, which is entitled “Ghost”, is being built in the studio Madhouse under the direction of director Shingo Natsume (“Sonny Boy”). Mangaka Natsume Ono designs the original character design, while Norifumi Kugai implements it for animation.
Shingo Natsume, who is working on an original film for the first time as a director, explained that he wanted “Created a work that could be described as fictional, but it stands in harmony with our time and strives for realism.”
The original anime celebrates its Japanese cinema premiere in the course of 2027. A specific date has not yet been mentioned.
