The Japanese animation studio PAWORKS announced today that you are currently working on a new original anime. There is a first teaser below.
Start in October 2025
The new original series, which is entitled “Towa No Yugure” and starts in Japanese television in October 2025, is being created in the studio powwork under the direction of Naokatsu Tsuda (“Good bye, Dragon”), which also writes the script.
Manga artist Midori Tayama (“Girls Crush”) designs the character design, while Yoshiko Saitou (“Farming Life in Another World”) implements this for the animation. Masahiro Tokuda (“Ishura”) is responsible for the background music.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Shuichirou Umeda (Haruka in “Loner Life”) can be heard as Akira Himegami and Yui Ishikawa (Elise in “Doctor Elise”). Ai Kayano (Darkness in »Konosuba«) Support Towasa Oumaki.

200 years after a cold sleep, Akira wakes up in a war -sacrificed future in which marriage was replaced by the “Elsie” system. When he meets the Androidin Yugure – the image of his former girlfriend Towasa – she surprisingly asks him for his hand.
Together they embark on a journey through this new world, looking for the truth and maybe for Towasa itself.
