On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women” (Japanese: “Hitozuma no Kuchibiru Wa Kan Chuuhai no aji Ga Shite”) was announced today that the series is broadcast in two versions.
Start in July 2025
The regular TV version and the so-called »Deregula Edition« differ, among other things, by the voice actors. In the regular version, Takahide Ishii (known as Yoel in »7th Time Loop«) as Tsuyoshi and Shiho Kawaragi (Megu Kakizaki in »Rozen Maiden«) can be heard as Yui Koriyama. In the “Deregula Edition” Men Kaidou and Miyu take over the roles of the two main characters.
It has not yet been officially confirmed whether there will be censorship differences. However, the term “Deregula Edition” was already used for the uncensored version of the Ecchi series “Yandere Dark Elf”, which-like “Chuhai Lips”-comes from the production company wwwave corporation.
The Studio Raiose is responsible for the animation of the series, which starts in July 2025, in which Hajime Keima (no references are known) leads to the script. Yoriko Karei contributes the design of the characters.
The original manga series of the same name comes from Suguru Engawa and has been released since February 2021 with illustrations by Tama Nogami in the “Young Magazine” in Japan. The work is not available with German translation.
