Another trailer for the new film was published on the official X account of the anime adaptation of »Chainsaw Man«. You can find the video below.
Heavy start in October 2025
The sequel film, which bears the title “Chainsaw Man-The Movie: Refere Arc”, was produced under the direction of Tatsuya Yoshihara (“Wistoria”) in the Mappa studio. Masato Nakazono (“Jujutsu Kaisen”) acted as an assistant director.
The ending song entitled “Jane Doe”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Uta (theme song by “Penguin Highway”).
The premiere in Japan is planned for September 19, 2025, while the strip in Germany on October 23, 2025 starts with German dubbing and in the original version with German subtitles in the cinemas.
The twelve -part first series relay of »Chainsaw Man« can already be completely viewed at Crunchyroll. The publisher also published this on DVD and Blu-ray. A Collector’s Edition appeared in October 2024.
