
A new trailer for the eighth season was published on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “My Hero Academia” (Japanese: “Boku No Hero Academia”). You can find the video below.
Start in October 2025
The eighth and the last season of “My Hero Academia” is again produced in the studio Bones under the direction of Naomi Nakayama (“Koikimo”). Kenji Nagasaki acts again as a chief director, while Yousuke Kuroda (“Mashle”) wrote the script and creates the character design of Yoshihiko Umakoshi.
The opening song “The Revo” comes from the band Pornograffitti, which has already contributed the opening song to the first season. The sequel starts on October 4, 2025 at the streaming service Crunchyroll in the Simulcast.
The seven previous seasons, all four films and the spin-off series »Vigilantes«, which has recently been extended by a second season, are already available on demand. The seventh season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray this year.
