The second season of »Kaiju No. 8 «Developed under the direction of director Shigeyuki Miya (» Afterlost «) in the Studio Production IG Yuuichirou Kido (» Fruits Basket «) wrote the script, while Tetsuya Nishio creates the character design.
The ending song entitled “Beautiful Colors”, which is presented in the new trailer, comes from the American band ONEREPUBLIC, which was already responsible for the first season. The opening song “You Can’t Run from Yourself” is contributed by the Norwegian singer Aurora.
The new episodes run on Japanese television from July 19, 2025 and at Crunchyroll in the original sound with German subtitles in the Simulcast. A German synchronous version has already been confirmed, but has no appointment yet.
