A few weeks before the start of the fourth season of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” (Japanese: “Tate No Yuusha No Nariagari”), the number of new episodes became known on the official website of the series. We summarize.
Start in July 2025
The fourth season of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” will therefore include a total of twelve episodes. This is one of the shorter seasons of the ISEKAI series-like the third season with twelve follows. In comparison, the first season with 25 episodes was more than twice as long, while the second season came to 13 episodes.
The studio Kinema Citrus is again responsible for the production of the sequel, which is expected to be broadcast on Japanese television from July 2025, in which Hitoshi Haga (“Made in Abyss”) direction.
The streaming service Crunchyroll already offers the first three seasons on call and also shows the continuation in the original sound with German subtitles in the Simulcast. The publisher also recently brought the third season on Blu-ray.
