The French amusement park Parc Spirou Provence recently announced that the construction work on a new themed park on the »Naruto« franchise was started. We summarize the first details below for you.
Opening in 2026
The Parc Spirou Provence near the French city of MontiUtx, southeastern, primarily devotes itself to the characters of the Belgian Comic publisher Dupuis, such as “Lucky Luke”, “Die Schlumpfe”, “Marsupilami” and “Spirou”.
The total area comprises 8 hectares (80,000 m²), of which 1.5 hectares (15,000 m²) are reserved for the new »Naruto« area, which is created in collaboration with Mediatoon, Shueisha, Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo.
A first concept drawing that you can see below in the article shows the area based on the Konohagakure with known places, such as the Hokage Residence, the Academy and Naruto’s favorite ramen.
The main attractions include a family thrill launch coaster from Zamperla, which circles the entire »Naruto« area and reaches a top speed of 75 km/h. The opening is scheduled to take place in the course of 2026.
