ONE PIECE anime has announced a new break and special recap episode for June 22, which means Episode 1134 will be delayed and should premiere on June 29. The title of the episode will be “Dr. Chopper’s Adventure Checkup -Good Friends at a Crossroad-” and it will recap events from Egghead as we wait for more of Kuma’s backstory.

The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies worldwide in August 2022. It also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is also still going strong.
The manga currently has 1151 chapters, with Chapter 1152 set to release on June 22 as well. The anime is at 1133 episodes as of today, having recently returned from a 6-month hiatus to improve quality. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime.
