“One Piece”, “Blue Box” & Co. meet in collaboration on “Pokémon”

On August 4, 2025, a new special edition of the Japanese “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine will be released, which marks the starting signal for collaboration with the “Pokémon” franchise. We summarize.

New anime -based

For the upcoming double edition 35/36-2025 of the »Weekly Shonen Jump«, various mangaka of the magazine illustrations on which their serial figures can be seen together with a Pokémon. These individual images are then combined into a large group picture to decorate the cover.

Three illustrations have already been published in advance: Pikachu and Monkey D. Ruffy (from “One Piece” by Eiichiro Oda), Karnimani and Chinatsu (from “Blue Box” by Kouji Miura) as well as Lohgock and Roboco (from “Me & Roboco” by Shuhei Miyazaki). In addition, another exciting announcement that was to be announced as part of an industry panel by the anime license by Remow on the upcoming Anime NYC, which takes place from August 21 to 24, 2025, is to be announced.
