On the official website of the original anime “Girls Band Cry” it was announced that a new film on the series is currently in the works. You can see a first visual below.

Specific details about the new film, such as the contributors at the production or the start date in the Japanese cinemas, are still pending. Of course we keep you up to date as soon as there is news.
The previous 13-part music series was created under the direction of Kazuo Sakai (“Love Live! Sunshine !!”) in the studio toei animation. Jukki Hanada (“Atri”) wrote the script, while Nari Tashima created the design of the characters. Two compilation films are planned for October and November 2025.
The streaming service Crunchyroll offers all episodes that ran on Japanese television between April and June 2024, in the original sound with subtitles on call. A disc release is expected to take place next year by peppermint anime.

School cancellation Nina Iseri moves from the province to Tokyo, but feels lost there at first. After an unsuccessful first day, she happens to meet her favorite guitarist Momoka Kawaragi.
