On October 12, 2025, the first “One Piece Run” took place in the Philippines – a running event with more than 8,000 participants who transformed the venue into a true reflection of the Grand Line. We summarize below.
Successful event
Sporty “One Piece” fans undoubtedly had the time of their lives last weekend, after all, they were able to not only share their passion for the anime or manga with like-minded people on the grounds of the SM City Fairview shopping center, but also take part in an extremely successful themed run.
Numerous fans came dressed in elaborate cosplays of their favorite characters, contributing to a colorful and energetic atmosphere.
After the run organized by RUNRIO, all participants were honored with specially designed “One Piece” medals depending on the distance they had completed (1, 5 or 10 kilometers). There were also exclusive special prizes for the three fastest.
Numerous photo spots were also set up at the venue – including large displays, Straw Hat Gang figures, a giant inflatable Gear 5 Luffy statue and a Luffy mascot. You can find a video and pictures below.
