Cube Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Cube) announced the termination of the contract on the 16th, saying, “We recently terminated our exclusive contract after sufficient discussion with Hui.”
Cube looked back on its past journey, saying, “Hui has always shown new appearances with outstanding musical talent and passion as the leader and main vocalist of Pentagon in 2016, and as a producer and solo artist, he has created his own music world by challenging without stopping.”
The contract will be terminated while Hui is suffering a broken nose which he obtained during the recent filming of JTBC’s entertainment program “Gathering Up 4,” but Cube will also help recover from the injury. Cube said, “The exclusive contract period with us has ended, but we will help Hui with both sides of mind at the company level while he recovers from his injury,” adding, “We will do our best to help Hui treat his injury and return to full health.”
They said, “Thank you for Hui’s efforts and dedication, and we ask for your warm interest and support in the new path that Hui will continue to take. We will also sincerely support Hui for his future.”
