The publisher Peppermint Anime announced today that the license on the second season of “Call of the Night” has been secured and that it will show it in this country in the Simulcast. We summarize.

The second season of “Call of the Night” can be seen with German subtitles on July 4, 2025 at ADN and Akiba Pass TV in the Japanese original sound. It is still open whether there will be a disc release at a later date.
The Lidenfilms studio is once again responsible for the production of the sequel, in which Tomoyuki Itamura (storyboard by “I want to eat your pancreas”) directs. Michiko Yokote wrote the script again.
The 13-part first season of the anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Kotoyama was already brought onto DVD and Blu-ray by Peppermint Anime with German and Japanese voice output.

The 14-year-old Kou has to struggle with sleep problems and feels increasingly out of place in his everyday life. At his nightly explorations, he meets the mysterious Nazuna, which turns out to be vampire.
Attached the independence and the stimulus of the night, Kou decides to become a vampire himself. But to achieve this goal, he has to fall in love with Nazuna – a great challenge for someone who has so far had no experience with love.
