ATLUS and SEGA have officially revealed a new trailer and details about Persona 5: The Phantom Xthe latest title in the Persona 5 series. Most notably, the companies confirmed that the English version of the game will launch the same time as Japan, on June 26, 2025.

The new trailer was shown at the special program, which you can watch below.
Jun Matsunaga, the Development Producer, first commented that the trailer looked cool, before moving on to describe why making a live service game was difficult since they had to make an RPG with a story that’s as exciting as a full console Persona game.
Persona 5: The Phantom X (often abbreviated as P5X) is a spin-off and expansion of the Persona 5 universe, developed by Perfect World Games in collaboration with ATLUS and SEGA. Unlike previous Persona titles, P5X is designed as a free-to-play game with live-service elements, optimized for mobile platforms and PC.
