The opening of an official website today announced that the manga series “Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!” You can find a first trailer below.
Start in October 2025
“Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!” Developed under the direction of Kazuomi Koga (“Tenpuru”) in the Marvy Jack studio and starts on October 6, 2025 on Japanese television. Aya Watatne wrote the script, while Atsuko Takahashi (key animation at “The Apothecary Diaries”) contributes to character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Aya Endou (Cattleya Baudelaire in “Violet Evergarden”) can be heard as Kouda Yumeko and Yuuma Uchida (Yuuma Kunimi in “Rascal Does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai”) as Keisuke Yuki.
The original manga series of the same name by Mamakari has been published in the »Koisuru Soiree« magazine since September 2019. The work is currently not available with a German translation.
