A product entry at Amazon announced that Polyband Anime will publish the second season of “Pokémon XY” (season 18 in the overall count) on DVD. We summarize the first details.
DISC release in October 2025
The second season of “Pokémon XY” is therefore on the market on October 30, 2025 in a complete DVD, which, in addition to all 45 episodes with German language version, also includes an episode guide as extra. A Blu-ray version is not planned. Two months earlier, on August 29, 2025, the first season appeared on DVD.
The Studio Olm was responsible for the production of the series, where Tetsuo Yajima (Episode Director at “Summer Time Rendering”) directed the direction.
A first German disc release took place in June 2018 by Studio Hamburg Enterprises. The publisher not only published the series on DVD, but also on Blu-ray. In the meantime, however, this edition has been out of print.
