An entry in the ProSieben Maxx program plan today announced that the free TV station will repeat the sports anime »Eyeshield 21« in a few weeks. We summarize.
Repetition from August 2025
The first episode of »Eyeshield 21« can therefore be seen on August 9, 2025 at 8:40 a.m. and thus immediately after the series final with German setting on ProSieben Maxx. Since April 2025, the anime has been broadcast every Saturday from around 5:30 a.m. with eight episodes in a row – four repetitions and four new episodes.
The Studio Gallop was responsible for the production of the 145-part series, which ran on Japanese television between April 2005 and March 2008, in which Masayoshi Nishita (“Mokke”) and Shin Katagai (“Cue!”) Directed.
The German TV premiere took place on ProSieben Maxx in August 2024. A disc release through Peppermint anime is to take place in the course of next year.
