After the AI company Creator’s X took over the Anime Studio Gaina a few days ago, this has now announced its renaming to Benten film.
Another new name
The Studio Gaina was originally founded in 2015 as the daughter studio of the legendary “Neon Genesis Evangelion” studio Gainax and accordingly wore the name Fukushima Gainax-but just for nine months, because then the studio explained its independence and named itself in Gaina.
Now the next change of name is followed, because as a result of a complete takeover by the AI company Creator’s X, the anime studio will in future work under the name Benten Film-among other things for the anime implementation of “Petals of Reincarnation” (Japanese: “ReinCarnation no Kaben”).
According to official information, the name component »Benten« refers to the goddess Benzaiten, who is worshiped in Japan as a patron saint of the arts and knowledge. Your temple is located in Kichijoji, where the company is also based.
In the past, Studio Gaina was responsible for the production of “Babanbabanban Vampire”, “Forest of Piano” and “Grendizer U”.
