Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling anime revealed the first teaser trailer and main staff, along with a new visual and 2026 release date. The anime was first announced back in March.

Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg (Tensei Shitara Doragon no Tamago Datta: Saikyo Igai Mezasa Nee) is a Japanese light novel series writtenten by neko, Featuring Illustrations by Naji Yanaidada. It is a started as a web novel on the Shosetsuka of Naro Platform in August

Additionally, the series also has a manga adaptation by RIO, which has released eight volumes as of January 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both in English, describing the story for the novel:
Our hero wakes up one day in a brand new world…but his new life doesn’t come with fighting skills or magic powers, or even arms and legs! He’s reborn as a helpless egg, stuck in an unfamiliar forest surrounded by terrifying, hungry beasts. But eggs hatch, hatchlings grow up, and humble beginnings can lead to something great.
